NEW HOME FOR 6 ORANGUTANS 🦧

Orangutan Haven is a sanctuary located in North Sumatra for rescued orangutans that can no longer be released into the wild.

Dina, Dek Nong, Leuser, Lewis, Paguh, and Krismon were victims of various forms of abuse, pet trading, and violence. As a result, they have different traumas and disabilities that make it impossible for them to survive in the wild.

A new beginning

One year ago, they were relocated to Orangutan Haven, an open space far from metal cages, where they can live outdoors, in peace, and in facilities tailored to their needs.

Since beginning their second chance at life, they have significantly improved in various skills, such as relearning how to climb, learning to build their nests for sleeping, feeling less stressed and less anxious and much more.

Orangutan Haven aims to be their forever home, a space where they can continue 

to improve their health and well-being.
