There are four leaderboards on which participating organizations will be competing. Early donations for Giving Day for Apes will begin on September 16, 2025, and all online donations made from September 16 - October 7 (EDT) will be reflected in leaderboard totals.

Power Hours
On October 7, 2025, participating sanctuaries can compete to win $2,500 by either raising the most dollars or bringing in the most unique donors during that hour. Because Giving Day for Apes has sanctuaries participating from all over the globe, Power Hours are separated by continent so every region has a chance to win.

During the timeframes listed, a donation that was received will be randomly selected and the receiving organization awarded a prize as indicated.
All Golden Ticket timeframes are listed in Eastern Daylight Time, see prize list for full details. The winning sanctuary will be posted at the start of the following timeframe. Thirty six (36) golden tickets will be awarded.
Early Giving
Golden Tickets
Fifteen (15) Early Giving Golden Tickets will be randomly awarded to participating organizations that have received at least one online donation during the Early Giving period (September 16 at midnight EDT through October 6 at 11:59 pm EDT). Participants are limited to a maximum of three (3) Early Giving Golden Tickets.
